After missing almost the entire Northwest drag racing season due to work and personal commitments (Shantz made the season opener in Terrace), Kham Shantz had his best outing ever at the final race of the season in Mission September 28th to 30th .
Running in the Outlaw class in the Friday Street Legals, Shantz roared to a 3rd place finish running a 8.769/150.25 miles per hour to run out a 22 car class.
Packing the tires 90 feet, the car had lots of horsepower at the Sea level Track. “ It was a little wobbly at the top end, but it ran perfect” said Shantz later.
