Ready to tear up the track

Spring must be here. The birds are back, the grass is starting to grow and the Terrace Drag Racing Association (TDRA) has announced the dates for the 2008 Season.
Racing will kick off on May 24th & 25th, with the other dates being set on July 5th & 6th, August 3rd & 4th and August 30th & 31st. All races will be at the Terrace Airport.
The “Hot August Nights” race on August 3rd and 4th will bring in a Feature racer, with the ever popular Murphy Racecars 1956 Cameo Pickup Wheel stander rumored to be in the running.
Another big announcement was the purchase of Reader Boards for the track. These digital boards will give the times for each lane to make the whole drag race experience even better for the fans in the stands.
The popular Points Series, started last year, will also be run, with the winner to get a Leather jacket after the final race in August.
