    The July1st weekend in Kitimat, brings back many memories from the past. Memories of Car shows in the Kitimat arena, memories of drag racing up the Haisla hill. The racing and the car show ended in 2000.
There is no more racing in Kitimat on July 1st , but there will be a car show, as they host the 5th Annual Kitimat car show. Running Tuesday July 1^st from 1 to 4 PM. The show will feature lots of awards and prizes for cars trucks and bikes. So if it’s hot cars you want to see take a trip to Kitimat Tuesday.
