Car enthusiasts ready to shine down on Seafest

This is a big weekend for Show and Shines in the Northwest. Saturday is the Prince Rupert Auto Club’s Annual Seafest Show And Shine, sponsored by Totem Press. Held on Third ave., after the parade, between City West and The Bank of Nova Scotia. Featuring lots of local hot rides, classics, trucks and stereo’s, this year will be no exception. There will be no entry fee and Plaques will be awarded for:
Best of show
Best sport compact
Best engine
Peoples choice – Voted by the fans
Presidents choice
Long distance award
Best body and paint
Best of competition
Best original
Best truck
Best bike
Best stereo
Best stereo installation
If you want to show your pride and joy, you can get access to the Show and Shine across from 7-11 Saturday after the parade. The Show runs between 1:30 and 4:00. You don’t need a show car, just bring it down and let people look at our heritage. Judging will begin at 2:30 and plaques will be awarded at 3pm.
Sunday, the Skeena Valley Cruizers will hold their Annual Fathers Day Show And Shine in Terrace. Last years event was canceled due to construction at the Terrace Canadian Tire, but this year all is back to normal.
The Show will start Sunday at 10 am and run until 3pm at the Canadian Tire in Terrace. There will be a cruise up to the show, meeting at Safeway Sunday at 10am. We will head up at 10:30 sharp.
