It’s been a busy time for car enthusiasts in the Northwest these last few weeks, with Show and Shines on three consecutive weekends. Smithers had their first annual “Cruizin’ the valley” June 6th , Prince Rupert’s Seafest Show & Shine ran June 13th and The Canadian Tire Fathers Day Show & shine was held last Saturday in Terrace.
The packed schedule continues this weekend with Drag Racing at the Terrace Regional airport Saturday and Sunday. Next Wednesday there will be a July 1st Show & Shine in the Tamitik arena in Kitimat. The following Saturday, July 4th, is the resurrected Kitimat Hill Climb.
The second of four races at the Terrace Regional Airport this season, will begin on Saturday with time trials at 9:15am. At 1:15 the first round of or “King of the YXT” and “Gamblers” eliminations will start. The same times will be in effect for Sunday, as a full slate of Bracket classes will be fielded.
Don’t miss out on the racing on this second drag event of the year, see you there Saturday or Sunday!
