Clinton Dellavachia took ‘Super Pro’ at the inaugural Vanderhoof Drags

Congratulations must go out to the Nechako Valley Motor Sports Association on their successful first race July 16^th to 18th. An estimated 50 cars lined up to make runs down the 1/8 mile track set up at the Vanderhoof Airport. There were a few teething problems, some of them due to the angle of the track and the sun. Nothing that could not be fixed.  Overall though the race was a great success and racers had a great time.

It is good to have another event in the area and hopefully this will bring new racers and fans into the fold.

Next up:

One of the biggest races in the Northwest is set to run Sunday, August 1^st and Monday ,August 2^nd at the Terrace regional airport. Hot August Nites, part of the riverboat days weekend, will feature “Nitro Mike” and his Wheel-standing PT Cruiser “Walking Tall”. There will also be a “Quick 8” for the fast cars.
