Hot August Nites started in 2005 and the first race was loaded with feature cars. Since then every year the TDRA has brought in New exciting rides. The Track Record has been broken by these cars Three times since 2005.

Quick 8 – Hot August Nites 2010 Feature Vehicle – Mike Kuntz and “Walking Tall”

We first met Mike Kuntz running Rob Murphy’s Wheelstander at 2006 Hot August Nites in Terrace.

At Terrace Kuntz made his, and the 56 Chevy Wheelstander’s, first runs down any track.

On the return run down the track Kuntz hit the throttle so hard that all four wheels came of f the track.
