· Rates for this year will stay at $90 per weekend and $50 per day – Juniors are $50 per weekend and $25 per day.

· Everyone pays at the gate! When you register your vehicle either for the day, weekend or year, you will be discounted

For paying at the gate.

· Make sure the check the “New Rules” section for updated rules that may affect you and your vehicle.

· This year we have a new entrance which will be clearly marked with road signs.

·

· What we want to start this year with the TDRA is having a set structure to the day. We have been starting later in the day and this puts pressure on all involved (racers and race-ops) to be finished at a reasonable hour at the end of the day.

By setting some definite times to the day’s events we hope to streamline the race weekend, allow for more racing and let everyone get finished at the end of the day at a reasonable hour.

Each class will be given 3 calls to staging lanes, spaced 5 minutes apart after the drivers meeting at the end of lunch starting with the Jr Dragsters. This will be the start of the race afternoon. From there the Bike/Sled class will be called followed by Pro and Super Pro as per usual.

08:45 – Staging Lanes will be opening for 9:15am

09:00 – Race Ops Meeting

09:15 – 12:15 – Staging lanes open for time trials

12:15 – 13:00 – Lunch

13:00 – 13:15 – Drivers Meeting

**FIRST ROUND BRACKET or King YXT**

13:15 – First call JR’s to staging lanes

13:20 – Second call JR’s First Pro or BIKE/SLED to staging lanes

13:25 – FINAL call JR’s Second call Pro or BIKE/SLED staging lanes

13:30 – JR’s Burnout Pit FINAL call Pro or BIKE/SLED staging lanes – Racers in burnout box, racing has begun

Pro or BIKE/SLED Class starts when JR’s Finish

First Call for PRO or SUPER PRO when half field of Pro or BIKE/SLED

Second Call 5mins later

FINAL Call 10mins later

The remainder of the afternoon will be called based on car count and classes. Please listen for your call to staging lanes, the third and final call will be a final call. We want to keep the event moving on and although it doesn’t happen often we want to avoid having to wait for people to make their way to staging lanes.

· Notice that we are trying to start everything earlier. ( Lanes open at 9:15 )

Thanks

There is no recourse through the T.D.R.A. for any safety infraction rulings made by the host track safety inspectors. If a vehicle during elimination’s exceeds the MPH or ET that it is teched for, that vehicle will be immediately disqualified from further competition and the opponent he/she was racing will advance in the elimination’s. If a car exceeds its MPH/ET rating during qualifying it will receive one warning from the T.D.R.A. prior to disqualification.

*Driver must stay within class and category entered.

These are a few of the rules that you will be required to meet in order to compete at a T.D.R.A. event. We recommend that you obtain a copy of the N.H.R.A. rulebook and read it over. Please pay attention to your class only! We operate under the ET BRACKET rules, (pages 57/87 in the 2009 rule book).

TDRA “L” License procedure

1. Upon the completion of the steps outlined below, the “L” driver will be treated as a regular racer and thus required to attend Drivers Meetings and is available to race in the category their car is qualified to race in

2. The “L” drive must have had their Learners license for at least 3 months before the first day they wish to race on

3. On the first day of racing for the “L” driver:

a. L Driver will make one pass during time trials with a Supervisor in the car (supervisor can be a parent, guardian or Teacher)

b. A member of the TDRA will observe the pass from the side lines

4. If the pass is acceptable and the L driver displays knowledge of the “process” of drag racing they are signed off on their account on the computer system (so we have them on record that they have been through this qualification) and will be qualified from that day fourth

5. If the pass was not acceptable the supervisor and/or the TDRA member will advise the L Driver of the proper procedures and a second pass will be made

6. Each L driver will be given 3 attempts per race weekend to qualify

7. The vehicle the “L” driver will be driving must be no quicker than 9.99 seconds in the 1/8th mile.
